Challenge

Cali Chilli is a restaurant in Long Beach, CA. Michelin Star Chef, Manjunath Mural, crafts traditional Indian food with a modern twist. They want to establish a brand with traditional Indian and contemporary Californian aesthetics.

Solution

The design solution is a modern yet traditional, vibrant, and refined aesthetic. The solution is shown in the brand guidelines, menu, takeout box, and takeout bag. The logos are ornamental yet simple. The design element gives a traditional Indian touch. The vibrant colors of spices inspired the logo's color palette. The diamond shape on the "i" is a terrazzo element that gives a contemporary Californian look and feel.
